We are currently seeking qualified animals to get trained and state certified to join our team. Any donations to the organization are gladly accepted though.
Vickie Ganey
Sir Nick (Nicky) of Halifax is a reregistered Papillon and is 2 years old. He is very sociable and is a certified TDI (Therapy Dogs International) pet therapy dog and goes with his handler to work. He also has his AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. He is beginning agility, 3rd level obedience, and beginning tracking. He also loves to “find” people
Nick is also, our mascot.
Nick is handled by Vickie Ganey [MBA, RN, RRT, RPFT, LNC] who lives in South Boston, Virginia. Vickie works at Halifax Regional Hospital, where she is the manager of Cardiopulmonary Services. She has been the manager there for 35 years! She is ACLS certified, and a CPR instructor for both The American Red Cross, and American Heart Association. She is also a retired EMT instructor. Nick is our mascot. He is a Papillion handled by Vickie Ganey.
